Terms of Service
Effective: April 17, 2026
These Terms (the "Terms") govern the conditions and procedures for using the customer/staff portal website and mobile application "atref" (the "Service") provided by AT HVAC & Refrigeration Co., Ltd. (the "Company"), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and users.
1. Purpose
These Terms set forth the basic matters such as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and users, and the conditions and procedures for using the Service, in connection with use of the Service provided by the Company.
2. Definitions
The terms used in these Terms are defined as follows. a. "Service": all functions the Company provides through the website and the atref mobile application, including customer project tracking, electronic signatures, and administrator document management. b. "User": customers and Company personnel (administrators) who use the Service under these Terms. c. "Account": the email and password a user registers to use the Service. d. "Electronic signature": a signature a user affixes electronically to documents such as work-completion confirmations via the atref application.
3. Effect and Amendment of the Terms
① These Terms apply to all users who wish to use the Service. ② The Company may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable law, and will give notice from 7 days before the effective date of any amendment. ③ If a user does not agree to the amended Terms, the user may stop using the Service and request account termination.
4. Provision and Change of the Service
① The Company provides the following services. - Project progress tracking - Review and signing of electronic documents such as work-completion confirmations - Administrator document issuance and management functions - Other supplementary services determined by the Company ② The Company may change the content of the services it provides for operational or technical reasons, with prior notice. ③ Service provision may be temporarily suspended for reasons such as regular maintenance or system replacement.
5. Obligations of Users
Users must not engage in the following acts. a. Stealing another person’s account or authentication information b. Interfering with operation of the Service or with other users’ good-faith use of it c. Using the Service for commercial purposes without the Company’s prior consent d. Attempting unauthorized modification or deletion of systems or data within the Service e. Any act contrary to law, public order, or social norms
6. Obligations of the Company
① The Company does not engage in acts prohibited by law or these Terms or contrary to public order, and makes its best effort to provide the Service continuously and stably. ② The Company protects users’ personal information in accordance with a separate Privacy Policy. ③ Where a user raises a legitimate concern during use of the Service, the Company will address it promptly.
7. Legal Effect of Electronic Signatures
① An electronic signature submitted by a user via the atref application has the same legal effect as a registered seal under Article 3 of the Digital Signature Act. ② When an electronic signature is submitted, the Company records the following audit information to preserve document integrity. - Signer account identifier (uid) - Document hash at the time of signing (SHA-256) - Signature timestamp (server time) - Device information and User-Agent ③ A signed document cannot be modified or deleted; in the event of a dispute, the audit records kept by the Company serve as evidence. ④ Users must review document content sufficiently before signing; any objection to the content after signing rests with the user.
8. Intellectual Property
① All intellectual property rights to the Service and its content (document templates, UI, logos, trademarks, etc.) belong to the Company. ② Users must not reproduce, transmit, distribute, publish, or otherwise use the Service or its content without the Company’s prior written consent. ③ Documents, comments, and photos a user submits through the Service are used only to manage the relevant project.
9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
① The Company is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure such as natural disasters, war, suspension of a telecommunications carrier’s service, or power outages. ② The Company is not liable for service-use failures attributable to the user’s fault. ③ The Company is not liable for profits a user expected to gain from using the Service or for incidental damages. ④ For damage caused by the Company’s intent or gross negligence, the Company bears liability within the scope provided by applicable law.
10. Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction
① Disputes between the Company and a user regarding use of the Service are resolved, in principle, through mutual consultation. ② If consultation fails, the competent court for any lawsuit shall be the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company’s headquarters. ③ The Korean text prevails with respect to the interpretation of these Terms.
